AG Hero Day Spotlight

Today is AgHero Day, spotlight on the Georgia Department of Education’s 2018 Georgia Organics Golden Radish Farm to School Farmer of the Year recipient, Lisa Dojan of Fisheads Aquaponics. Lisa was recognized for her exemplary work with Georgia students.

In her nomination from Burke County Public School System, Waynesboro, Georgia, Lisa is described as “a wonderful resource and advocate for school nutrition! She was one of the original farmers, and is ALWAYS happy to help with a school event when needed. Not only does she come to the school for numerous educational events each year, she is part of our farmers market and helped us with Farm to School Summit and Georgia Organics Conference with the best attitude.” Thank you to Lisa and all of our Ag Heroes for all that you do to Fuel Georgia’s Future!
